“ A brilliant little country pub located in Woodhouse Eaves. The Curzon Arms is the definition of a pub you want to go to after a long dog walk or exhausting day at work. The food is well cooked and prepared, service was probably the best i’ve ever experienced in a long time and the atmosphere has that country pub vibe but also manages to pull off being a good restaurant as well. It’s rare to see pubs do both good food and good drink and service but Curzon seems to nail it. Highly recommended. ”
“ Sunday lunch, mackerel pate served with thin toast. The duck pate was also ordered again served with thin toast. Both pates had lovely taste although we found the bread a little to the salty side. Roast beef was excellent beautifully cooked with all the trimmings. The Curzon stack was also enjoyed. All washed down with couple of pints. Three meals 90 including drink. Definitely recommended ”
“ We had a friend say how nice it was here, so we had to come and try it? WOW, fantastic pub with great outside space. The food was top-notch (see pics) staff very friendly. the decor in side was very unique. Also do quiz nights and live music. We will definitely be returning to try the Sunday lunch. ”
“ Visited after a walk round Beacon Hill Country park. Had the phili steak wrap meal, amazing. Lovely setting on the patio on a gorgeously sunny day. The staff were friendly and helpful. Looking forward to another visit soon. ”
“ Looked after from the moment we walked in. Staff very friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Food was excellent and good range of drinks. Not been to the pub for quite a while but will certainly be back. ”
“ Beautiful local pub in the heart of a gorgeous little village. Maybe it was the sun making me bias but the outside seating area is perfect. Shade, grass, sun, benches, tables, anything you’d want for a lovely afternoon. When we moved in for the food, it was cool and had a nice buzz. They opened a tab straight away whilst we waited for others which was rather helpful, and the service remained friendly, chatty, and as good as it could be really. Despite a large amount of items missing from the menu, everything for the most part was great! The crab starter had nice flavour and texture, but the bream and steak were knockout main courses. Maybe avoid the crab linguine though as it did let the side down a little. Dessert were equally as nice, sorbets being excellent and the panna cotta very tart and yummy! All in all this place is delicious and no doubt we’ll be back - definitely for a drink in the sun as a bare minimum! ”
“ What a great place for a moment of relaxation in the scenery of ever-living greenery, away from crowded streets, with great friendly service and really good food, although we only tried the snacks: warm sordough with virgin olive oil, butter and aged balsamic, padron peppers, crispy courgette fries, truffled french fries. Definitely to visit again! ”
“ Had a lovely experience at this great little find! After coming across The Curzon, we will definitely return. The staff were attentive (without being over the top), great choice on the menu and even when we explained our little ones are fussy, the chefs were able to cater to their needs. Food was outstanding, with our steak and wellington cooked to perfection!!! 5* all round!! ”
